Failure to Prevent Fraud webinar: Practical Insights and Lessons Learned

The Failure to Prevent Fraud offence has been in force since 1 September 2025 under the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act. Organisations meeting the specified criteria are now expected to have reasonable procedures in place to prevent fraud by employees, agents, subsidiary undertakings, and other associated persons.

Join Cifas, the UK’s leading fraud prevention organisation, as we move beyond introduction and focus on practical insights from implementation so far. This session will explore lessons learned, emerging good practice, common challenges, and the steps organisations are taking to strengthen fraud prevention frameworks, evidence reasonable procedures, and embed an effective anti-fraud culture.

Cost: This webinar is free to attend. As a not-for-profit organisation, Cifas aims to support and educate as many organisations as possible to prepare for the change. Who should attend: The webinar is open to all professionals from all sectors and all sizes of organisation.

You will find the webinar particularly useful if you work in areas such as human resources/recruitment/training and development, or counter fraud, anti-money laundering, compliance and risk.
