How can I get CIFAS torelease any information it holds about me?
The Data Protection Act 1998 gives you the right to seek 'Subject Access' to a copy of any data held by CIFAS about you, in return for a statutory fee of up to £10.00. These rights apply to data held on computers and certain manual records.
Under the Data Protection Act 1998, consumers are entitled to a copy of their credit file for a statutory fee of £2.00.
