Who are theMembers of CIFAS?

Most of the Member organisations within CIFAS are household names. All the major banks, building societies, mortgage lenders, retail credit suppliers, finance companies, insurance companies, credit card companies and mobile phone suppliers are Members of CIFAS. They are all reputable organisations who are audited each year, to confirm they are supplying data to and using data from the CIFAS National Fraud Database in ways which are allowed as part of the CIFAS scheme. CIFAS insists that all those authorised to deal with CIFAS information are properly trained in the use of the system. In the event of a CIFAS Member misusing CIFAS data, their access to the data would be suspended.
